Florida: Famous for Jeb Bush and Chads

Welcome to Florida, the Sunshine State...but please, avoid any unnecessary confrontations with the locals.

They just might shoot you.

A new, shoot-first-ask-questions-later law goes into effect Monday, allowing gun-toting Floridians to shoot anyone they feel "threatens" them, including Canadian, for whom Florida is the number one tourist destination in the world.

The controversial law has prompted an print and online advertisement campaign to warn visitors to Florida state -- both domestic visitors from other U.S. states and internationla visitors from the U.K. and Canada -- about the new law, which says that any individual who feels their personal safety is threatened, or that their possessions are at risk, are legally authorized to use deadly force.

And not just at home.

The law applies anywhere, anytime.
