That's right, Flat 9 is up for lease as well. It's a two-bedder and it's only $25/week more expensive than mine!!!
I did contemplate how nice it would be to have a spare room so I could set up a 'studio' - wanker! - but there are pitfalls to Flat 9.
For instance... it's a lot closer to the rubbish bins and therefore the smell of the rubbish bins.
It is directly above the undercover carpark.
I only share my corridor with one other flat. Flat 9 is surrounded by doorways to 3 other flats, i think. The chances of running into neighbours is increased dramatically.
I would lose my lock-up garage.
Finally, if I'm going to pack up and move and go through all that cleaning, I'd prefer to be moving into a nicer place, like a house. Or even somewhere where I could have George. And Wrongtown. And I certainly wouldn't be moving into another mid-level flat.
