Another beautiful day, another adventure.

Today, I woke up to another spectacular spring day in Melbourne. I was on my way to Port Melbourne again when I was distracted by the Salvation Army store. I ended up spending $7 on four books, which should keep me out of trouble for a while. I haven't finished reading a book since the last Harry Potter novel and I think it's time I start reading again.

Anyway, instead of going to Port Melbourne, I went back home and picked up the book I've been trying to read all this year, went to the milkbar for a newspaper and bottle of water, then headed over to Yarra Bend Park to soak up some sun.

Whilst in the park, I tried to do a J2 and use the macro feature of my camera.

The was my first attempt... Clearly I didn't know what I was doing.

This next one I quite like... But I have to admit that I didn't even see the purple flower when I took the photo. I'm never going to get this camera.
