There is nothing 'delightful' about Uncle Toby's Oat Temptations Date Delight with a hint of Golden Syrup.
I was opposed to buying the multi-varietal 12-pack box of porridge for this very reason.
As it is, I'm gastronomically opposed to dates and golden syrup (maple or nothing, honey), whether they be separate or combined, but in a bold move this morning, I opted for this one.
Every suspicion that I had about this particular flavour was confirmed. I foresee a collection of unwanted Date Delights in our pantry.
I'll never have that recipe again... A... gaaaaaaaaaaaaaain...
