Do you remember when...

You used to race home from school to see the 'World Premiere' of videos like 'Thriller' or 'The Reflex'?

How about eagerly anticipating the next John Hughes movies?

The 80s... those were some good times.

Speaking of John Hughes, I remember when the Queen of 80s teen flicks, Molly Ringwald, came to Winnipeg to film 'Maybe Baby'. Never actually saw her but apparently she was in town.

Oddly enough, Molly Ringwald in Winnipeg is related to one of my fonder memories of piano lessons because that movie was being filmed in and around the area where our piano lessons were held.

A not so fond memory of piano lessons was being pelted by snowballs thrown by my sisters as I left Ms. Gauvin's house.

Which wasn't as bad as when I used to walk out and they weren't there sitting in the car waiting for me like they should have been.

Ok... so maybe Molly Ringwald allegedly being within a 5km diameter vicinity of piano lessons was the *only* fond memory of piano lessons.
